Official Record and Custody Contacts

For a Sheriff arrest, county-jail intake, current custody question, or a Missouri Sunshine Law request for a local booking record, begin with the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office and the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. The detention page directs public custody searches to VINELink; it does not promise a public booking-photo roster.

For a filed case, first use Case.net and select Ste. Genevieve County in the 24th Judicial Circuit. A booking allegation can take days to appear as a court case, and a jail release is not a court disposition.

  • To locate a booking record or ask whether an image is releasable, follow the home page’s official-record and Sunshine Law request path. Request the booking or arrest record and any booking photograph as separate items, and ask for a fee estimate.
  • For a possible warrant, use the Most Wanted page for the Sheriff, Clerk, and Case.net confirmation routes. Do not rely on a missing online result as proof that no warrant exists.
  • For an arrest that may have been recent, check the county custody, weekly Sheriff release, and MSHP reporting paths. The Sheriff’s verified press releases are weekly, not a daily arrest log.
  • For current local custody or a notification, start through the detention center’s VINELink route. A blank result can reflect timing, spelling, a release, a different facility, or an offline jail connection.
  • For a city arrest, contact the originating city police records custodian first, then the county detention center if the person was booked into county custody. The county guide does not operate separate facility pages.
  • For an active Missouri state offender or supervision record, use the Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search. It is not a current county-booking list and does not guarantee a public photograph.
  • For a federal sentenced inmate, use the BOP Inmate Locator. For ICE custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. These are separate custody systems, not Ste. Genevieve booking-photo sources.
